It’s no secret that security is becoming more important than ever before. People are taking advantage of technology to protect their property, and the market for security is trending upward. Just ask Nathan Zautcke, managing partner of Security 101, a national integrator for the electronic security sector based out of Canton. “Technology is always changing and getting better,” he says. “We have a lot to protect. The systems are in place to do it easier than it has ever been done before. But a lot of times we need to educate the end user. They aren’t just cameras anymore; it’s things like sound masking, too.”

Zautcke says Security 101’s customer base is mostly commercial businesses but does include high-end residential applications, too. “We have installed sound masking in as little as a 1,000 square foot suite with one door on card access and a camera,” he adds. “We’ve installed 400 cameras in a nine-building campus with 50 doors. Our team of different crews is built for small and large installations.”
